Job Description
Job Purpose:
Primary role is to perform work activities related to accounts receivable and collection.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Update system for payment received
- Find and contact clients (via call & email) to follow up on overdue payments
- Identify and drive initiatives to reduce delinquency in trade receivable
- Effectively follow-up “promise to pay” clients
- Forecast collections and bad-debts
- Prepare monthly reports on collections
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is made on timely manner;
- Handle vendors’ enquiry on payment matters;
- Prepare account analysis and generate monthly reports;
- Liaise with other department on any further action required
- Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments
- Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts
- Handle questions or complaints
- Perform other ad-hoc task as assigned by Head of Department or Managing Director

Qualification Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Business / Marketing or relevant qualification
- Preferably 1 to 2 years relevant working experience
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse Mandarin will be added advantage.
